Only 6.5 miles from Stayton, shopping and Hwy 22 to Salem! In
the country but close to town. The road up to the home is
approximately 1700 ft. off Ridge Drive with a welcoming
tree-lined driveway.
20 acres of Noble
Firs were planted 1.5
years ago. They were 1S/2S when planted - Imagine the great
investment waiting for you ahead 6/8 years! (Pay for college, or
a once in a lifetime vacation... pay off the farm or other
debts! It's up to you.)
The shop
is situated between the large fenced and cross-fenced pasture
and the house and is 60' X 40' with 2 covered loafing areas each
12' x 60'. One side is currently used for equipment and one for
feeding the animals. The inside of the shop has a built-in area
that consists of 2 rooms. There are 2 stalls for keeping
critters inside if needed, and a door to feed through to the
outside. It's all set up very conveniently for raising a few
animals with a concrete floor, plenty of electric outlets and a
high-rise door for an RV. (There is an RV dump facility
near the shop.)
You'll find a
smaller pasture with a
shed behind the home for sheep, or small livestock or other
animals. The well is approximately 316' deep.
There is some
marketable timber worth
approximately $50,000 along the southerly property line and an
island of trees within the acreage to the north.
The country home
built in 1973 sits on
34.51 acres that's perfect for raising animals, growing
Christmas trees or other cash crops. The peace and quiet in true
country living along with sensational sunsets and serenity are
all positives that add to the farm-like comforts.
The home has had
updating in the last two
years with all new laminate flooring throughout except for
bedrooms which are carpeted. A new pellet stove was installed
within the lovely floor to ceiling rock fireplace. The TRANE
heat pump is less than a year old. The master bedroom was
enlarged (with permits) to add space for office work area or a
sitting area. The master bath was updated and has double
sinks. The country kitchen is spacious and has oak cabinets,
including a desk, pantry and drawers with pull-out shelves. The
family/dining area has views to the south from the bay-window,
as well as to the west and the pastoral views from all the
windows are incredible! The oversized garage has a well-pump and
furnace for easy maintenance. |
